Just a reminder that I am racing the Scott 24 Hour race at Mt Stromlo (Canberra) this weekend with my good mate Matt and 2 dudes I have never met before (hopefully this is not some psychotic/funny [hardy-ha-ha Matt] ruse to get me in the bush alone on Matt’s part).
I posted about how to race a 24 hour race (6 hours, really) with NO preparation. Well, dear reader, I am most sad to inform you that I have sullied my heretofore squeaky clean reputation. You see, sneaky wretch that I am, I have snuck in 2 hours (!) of mountainbiking in on Slayer (see below) on the weekend. “CHEAT!” cometh the chorus cries.
“MERCY, I beg of thee”, pleadeth I.
I also must disclose that I do ride on the road every single waking day. Neither rain, nor hail, nor shine, doth seek to condemn me to a miserable ride-less day. I sully forth from my castle astride my trusty carbonic steed, ready to do battle and rid the world of vile detritous and ring a clarion call of victory for purity and chastity as we do battle and adminster stern punishment upon those who do seek to perpetrate evil amongst our fine lands.
Or something.
Anyway, I have it on good authority that, despite Vodafone’s woeful just-outside-the-metro-area coverage, I’ll have coverage. What this means for you is that I will, as I can, be uploading photos and video to the following locations:
