As I mentioned in a previous posts here and here, I am putting a lot of thinking into planning this trip; particularly in regard of positioning on the alps in the three big stages – Stage 16, Stage 17 and Stage 20.
There’d be nothing worse than turning up and finding the road closed, though, at worst, we have bikes and can sneak to a vantage point.
It sounds like Ventoux is going to an absolute Le Nightmare. This site has some really good info on parking restrictions etc. There’s going to be loads and loads of people on the hill.
