Thanks for checking back, I appreciate it!
Well after last year’s epic romp up the Ventoux, I’m now officially addicted to L’Etape. In fact, I reckon it’s more worthwhile smashing over to France for L’Etape than for Le Tour.
The ideal trip for me at least, is L’Etape, 3-4 Tour stages then lots of riding. 10-12 days max. In, out, home. BAM.
I was almost considering not going myself, but then my gf said something to me that had a profound effect (of course, I am always aware of this, but it’s nice to be reminded): “you could get terminally sick next year. Be good to have done L’Etape again.”
So, I’m in.
So here’s the skinny. My homie Michael is considering not coming. Here’s a dude who works his butt off and is one of those people that *almost* lives life on the basis that “I’m working for tomorrow”. For these type of people, though, tomorrow never comes. They work like dogs forever. So, I’m on a mission to get him to come.
So Mike, here it is. You know you want to. Get on board.
Here’s the profile..

And here’s the route. EPIC.

Michael,
You can’t leave Tim alone. Who’s gonna help empty the gray water on the camper?
To be young and strong to enjoy the thrill of those climbs is something you won’t be able to do forever. Work will still be there when you get back. Just Do it!
